The appeal isn't just the roster—it's how the game forces you to constantly switch between flight, strength, and gadget abilities to progress, which keeps even repeated levels feeling fresh.
Real Gameplay and Level Design
The levels here aren't simple corridor runs. Each stage is a dense playground of levers, destructible walls, and hidden stud caches that reward patience. One moment you're using Batman's grapple to zip across a crumbling asteroid; the next, you're lining up Green Lantern's constructs to redirect a laser beam. The puzzle logic is consistent but never hand-holds—expect to backtrack if you miss a character with heat vision. That said, the camera in tighter indoor sections can occasionally clip into walls, making precise jumps more frustrating than they should be. Honest Limitations – What Could Be Better
Not everything shines. The mobile port has no cloud save sync between devices—if you switch phones, progress is gone unless you manually back up. The co-op works only on the same screen, so no online play for those who want to team up remotely. Also, the humor, while charming, relies on slapstick cutscenes that don't scale well to smaller screens; text bubbles can be hard to read during action. Battery drain is noticeable after an hour, and the game tends to stutter briefly when loading a new zone. If you're after a polished single-player RPG or competitive online mode, look elsewhere.
